Terms & Conditions

It's recommended to familiarise yourself with my terms and conditions before placing an order.

Generally, payment is automated when an order is placed. If you require extra design or quantity amendments to the standard shop listing, then please add your requirements in the comment box when placing an order. We will amend your bill accordingly or invoice you separately if you are requiring something more bespoke.

Timescales (UK)

The job will commence once we have checked and confirmed your order and we have all the wording you would like to use on your stationery. 

For personalised stationery ordered from the 'ready to print' collection, you can choose between two timescales.

For the speedy express service, I will do my darndest to get you everything designed, printed, packaged and delivered within 10 working days of you placing your order. If I can't meet that deadline, then we will refund you the £25 speedy turnaround fee.

For the standard service, you will generally have everything within three weeks of placing your order, but that might extend to within four weeks during busy times.

For bespoke orders, I will put together an agreed schedule which is based upon the scope and complexity of your stationery suite but it's normal to expect 4-8 weeks.

My timescales are based on the assumption that you will be available to answer emails/calls and approve proofs within 48 hours of receiving them (24 hours for speedy turnaround clients). If you won’t be available at some point during this time, then let me know and I can adjust the timescales to something more realistic.

It is recommended to book in your order, well in advance, so that you can be assured of your delivery dates during busy periods. If I am particularly busy, I will let you know at the time of booking, and timescales may have to be adjusted accordingly. Preference will always be given to those who have placed express orders.

For all orders within the EU and USA, timescales will be delayed by a few extra days depending on destination country and accounting for longer delivery lead times.


Make sure your wording is clear, correct and has no spelling mistakes, and let me know about any special instructions. Once you have approved the final version I will send the designs to print and any further changes will most likely be impossible – so make sure you check and double check! Any missed spellings are your responsibility, not mine!

I allow up to four edits. Any further drafts after four edits will be charged at £20 each.


As you may be aware, what looks blue on my computer monitor might actually look blue-green on your computer monitor, as everyone’s monitors adjust colours a bit differently, according to their own calibration. On top of that, the professional printer will also have their own take on the same colours too. Therefore, I can't guarantee that the printed product will match the same colours as seen on your screen. You can order a sample to get a better idea, but even with that, there are no guarantees that your order will be exactly colour matched to the sample you orderd. This is due to the subtle changes of colours between print runs. There won’t be any drastic changes, but there are occaisionally some perceivable differences.

For bespoke orders, I recommend you seeing a printed proof first if time allows. This will be included in your print cost, but it does slow the turnaround time down by a few days, as it will need to be printed and sent out to you to gain your approval first, before we go ahead and print the full set. If time is paramount, then this step can be skipped.

Printers defects

Myself or Faye personally oversee each completed print job that comes off the press in order to minimise printer’s errors. In the unlikely event of noticing imperfections, we will arrange a reprint with as speedy a turnaround as possible. Should you spot something you are not happy with, then you must flag this up within 48 hours of receiving your stationery and I’ll do my best to resolve any issues. You may need to return your package so I can verify and check the error to qualify for a reprint.

Delivery for large packages over £30

I carefully package, insure and despatch your stationery with my overnight courier service. Please make sure you provide a delivery address where you, or someone you know, will be present to sign for the receipt of the package during work hours 8am - 6pm, Monday-Friday. Alternatively, I can arrange to deliver your package on a Saturday or during a specific time slot at an extra cost.

International packages will take a little longer depending on the destination country.

Delivery for small packages under £30

For small non personalised items such as greetings cards and samples, I endeavor to dispatch your item within 48 hours of receiving your order, first class with Royal Mail.


I will keep your personal design files on record for up to a year in the event of you needing reprints. After this, I may destroy your files unless you request otherwise.


All designs are the property and copyright of Hollyhock Lane and Julie Annis and may not be used without permission by third parties. If you would like to spread the love and share the designs via the web, then please let me know of your plans beforehand and always acknowledge designs back to Hollyhock Lane and this website. Hollyhock Lane retains the copyright and ownership of all bespoke commissioned designs. I may well decide to use elements of illustration from bespoke work for future designs a year after the wedding has passed.

When you place an order via the website, fill out one of our online forms, win a competition or sign up to our newsletter, we collect some of your personal data. To fulfil your request, you must provide us with certain information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide us with additional personal information, if you contact us directly.

We need all this information to help us fulfil your order, deliver the product to you, provide customer support and if you consent, send you our occasional newsletters.

We engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to the business, such as delivery companies, accounting companies and customer management software. We will share some of your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services and your data will not be made public.

We may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, we may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction.

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with our services and as described in our Privacy Policy. However, we may also be required to retain this information to comply with  legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. We generally keep your data for the following time period: 4 years, after which it is deleted.

If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. These rights are described below:

  • Access. You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information I hold about you by contacting me using the contact information below.
  • Change, restrict, delete. You may also have rights to change, restrict our use of, or delete your personal information. Absent exceptional circumstances (like where I am required to store data for legal reasons) I will generally delete your personal information upon request.
  • Object. You can object to (i) our processing of some of your information based on my legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from us after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, we will delete your personal information unless we have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
  • Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about our use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
